Production Shift SupervisorLocation: Snodland, KentJob Type: Full time, PermanentSalary - £35,000 - £40,000Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off daysAlexander Steele is partnering with a leading Food Manufacturing business based in Kent, who are looking to hire a Production Shift Supervisor. You’ll be responsible for leading and developing a team on shift to meet production, quality, and safety targets while driving continuous improvement on the line.Key Responsibilities:Lead, motivate and manage a production team to meet daily output and quality targetsEnsure health 'safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are followed at all timesMonitor team performance and support individual development plansMaintain clear and effective communication during and between shiftsSupport shift KPI delivery across efficiency, waste, quality, and attendanceInvestigate non-conformances and contribute to performance reviews and daily meetingsMaintain accurate production records and shift documentationCoordinate smooth shift handoversRaise people-related concerns with management and HR as requiredSkills & ExperienceExperience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing or similar environmentStrong leadership and communication skillsKnowledge of BRC, HACCP, and food safety standardsComfortable working with performance metrics and production targetsBasic IT and reporting skillsFlexible approach and a hands-on, proactive attitudeFamiliarity with Warehouse Management SystemsFor more information regarding this opportunity contact Peter Hasson on:peter.hasson@
