Job Title: Facilities Management (FM) ConsultantLocation: Flexible UK-based hybrid working (1–2 days in-office, location dependent) with national travelSalary: Competitive + PackageType: Permanent, Full-TimeFM Consultant – National Portfolio – Confidential ClientBoden Group is working in partnership with a leading consultancy to recruit an experienced Facilities Management (FM) Consultant to support a prestigious and complex portfolio of long-term infrastructure contracts across the UK.This standalone, client-facing role requires a commercially astute FM professional with strong legal understanding, excellent data analysis capabilities, and a track record of delivering value through benchmarking and market testing activities. You will be instrumental in advising on contract performance, service provider transitions, and compliance, with national project exposure.Key ResponsibilitiesLead benchmarking schemes across multiple FM contracts to evaluate performance, value for money, and best practice alignment.Deliver market testing exercises, guiding decision-making on service improvements and contract renewals.Provide expert commercial and FM advice across a range of operational infrastructure projects.Support legal and contractual reviews, including compliance audits, risk assessments, and dispute resolution.Oversee mobilisation and transition of FM service providers where required.Conduct detailed analysis of service performance and cost data to inform reports and strategic recommendations.Liaise with senior internal and external stakeholders, including project management teams and service providers.Contribute to due diligence and business development activities as required.What We’re Looking ForEssential Experience & Skills:Strong background in Facilities Management, ideally within complex environments (e.g. healthcare, education, government).Demonstrable experience with PFI/PPP-style contracts or similar long-term infrastructure agreements.Proven delivery of benchmarking and market testing projects in FM environments.Solid understanding of contractual and legal frameworks in FM, including dispute and compliance processes.Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders and influence outcomes through data and insight.High-level reporting, communication, and Excel/data analysis skills.Desirable:Experience with FM performance regimes and payment mechanisms.Degree or relevant professional qualification.Experience with lifecycle planning and service provider mobilisation.The OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageFlexible hybrid working with national project travelOpportunity to work with a respected consultancy partner on critical UK infrastructure contractsLong-term role with scope for continued professional developmentInterested in finding out more?Apply in confidence or contact Boden Group today for a discreet discussion.
