Implementation Specialist (PowerMax, VMAX)

Our blue chip client is seeking highly skilled Senior Implementation Specialists to join their team. As a Senior Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring PowerMax and VMAX arrays, as well as providing expert-level support for data migration, replication, and storage management. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.This is a 12 months contract inside IR35 and the role is fully remote.Requirements:Strong knowledge of PowerMax and VMAX arrays, including data migration, replication, and storage managementExperience with SRDF, Open Replicator, and Symmetrix NDMExpert-level understanding of Unisphere for PowerMax and its functionality and architectureMust have experience working in large-scale environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutionsStrong technical skills, including hardware and software configuration, troubleshooting, and optimizationExperience with storage provisioning concepts, serviceability access and activities, and Storage Class Memory benefitsAbility to stay up-to-date with new features and enhancements in PowerMax and VMAX arraysRequired skill – Pure, Symmetrix Key Responsibilities:Implement and configure PowerMax and VMAX arrays, including data migration, replication, and storage managementProvide expert-level support for data migration, replication, and storage managementUnderstand and implement new features and enhancements in PowerMax and VMAX arrays, including SRDF, Open Replicator, and Symmetrix NDMCompare and contrast PowerMax and VMAX models, including hardware components and configuration optionsDescribe license management, local replication management options, and remote replication management optionsProvide detailed explanations of new hardware, software enhancements, and additions within the latest release(s)Describe the functions of commonly used Solutions Enabler daemons and the installation of Solutions EnablerProvide expert-level support for Unisphere for PowerMax administration tasks, including configuration options, serviceability, and management updatesSummarize software offerings and provide an overview of storage management in a virtualized environment
