Job Description Gas Safe PlumberLocation: NewmarketSalary: 40,000 + OvertimeJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gas Safe Plumber to join the on-site maintenance team at a prestigious and secure site in Newmarket. Working as part of a professional facilities management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing and gas maintenance services across the estate.This role involves a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and minor installation works, ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently and in full compliance with relevant regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing and gas systemsRespond to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing and repairing faultsPerform maintenance, servicing and repairs on gas appliances and heating systemsCarry out general plumbing works including pipework, taps, toilets, valves and water systemsEnsure all gas works are completed in accordance with Gas Safe regulations and safety standardsSupport wider maintenance tasks across the site where requiredLiaise with contractors and other engineers on siteMaintain accurate records of works carried out and ensure compliance documentation is completedEnsure all work is completed in line with health & safety proceduresRequirementsGas Safe registeredProven experience working as a Gas Engineer / Plumber within facilities management, building services or commercial environmentsStrong knowledge of plumbing systems and gas appliancesExperience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenanceAbility to fault-find and resolve issues efficientlyGood communication and teamwork skillsRelevant plumbing or gas qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)Whats on Offer40,000 basic salaryOvertime availableStable, long-term role on a well-maintained and high-profile siteOpportunity to work within a professional facilities management teamSupportive working environment and structured maintenance programmeJBRP1_UKTJ
