Antenna Design Engineer

Job Description Please note this role is a 12 month FTC with future possibility of permanent employment. Hybrid working available: Minimum 2 days onsite per week We are seeking an Antenna Design Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team delivering innovative antenna and RF solutions.You will be involved across the full product development lifecycle, from early bid support and requirements capture, through concept and simulation, to prototyping, verification, and production handover.This is a hands-on role offering exposure to design, simulation, testing, and manufacturing within a supportive team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop antenna and RF productsSupport new product development from concept through to productionPerform requirements analysis and contribute to system-level designConduct RF testing, validation, and optimisationMaintain and improve RF test facilitiesProduce technical documentation and design reportsSupport PCB design activities where requiredSkills & Experience RequiredStrong understanding of RF theorySolid grounding in electromagnetic and circuit theoryExperience in antenna design and passive RF/microwave circuit designFamiliarity with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g. CST, FEKO, HFSS)Experience using RF test and measurement equipment such as:Vector Network Analysers (VNA)Spectrum AnalysersExperience working with antenna test ranges / anechoic chambersDegree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline (minimum HNC or equivalent considered)Competent IT skills (MS Office and general PC use)
