We're lookingfor a Quantity Surveyor tojoin our team in Newcastle, whereyou'll support the successful delivery of a newbuild school project – a scheme that willprovide vital learning spaces for generations to come. As a Quantity Surveyor, you'llplay a key role in managing the commercial aspects of the project,ensuring value, quality, and compliance at every stage. You'll workclosely with our supply chain, clients, and internal teams todeliver excellence from procurement through to finalaccount. Keyresponsibilities: Manage subcontractor procurement and paymentsprovide timely , accurate information for CVRreporting Support change control andrisk mitigation with the Senior Quantity Surveyor Carry out site measurements to assess sub contractorpayment applications Collaborate with site anddesign teams to ensure all project variations are captured andcosted Prepare information to enableapplications for payment to client Provide commercial advice to the project teams asrequired What are welooking for? Degreeor equivalent in Quantity Surveying Experiencein main contracting, ideally on education or public sectorprojects Knowledge of NEC and/or JCTcontracts Full UK driving licenceLocated in North East of England, able to travel tooffice and site locations.
