The business has also gained recognition from global industry leaders, forming partnerships that reflect its high standards and professional approach.This is an organisation with strong leadership, clear structure, and ambitious growth plans.The RoleManpower Engineering are looking for an experienced Coded Welder to join the on-site fabrication shop, working closely with the Welding Manager and existing fabrication team.This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with a genuine intention to offer a permanent position to the right candidate.The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out Flux Core welding to ASME IX coded standards, working on hydraulic components and assemblies in a busy fabrication workshop environment.We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, maintains high quality standards, and is comfortable working within a structured production environment with strict deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesFlux Core welding to ASME IX coded standardsWelding hydraulic components and assemblies in a fabrication shop environmentWorking closely with the Welding Manager and fabrication teamEnsuring all welds meet quality assurance and inspection standardsReading and working from engineering and fabrication drawingsCarrying out weld preparation and ensuring components are ready for weldingMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspaceAdhering to QA procedures, welding procedures, and production schedulesEssential RequirementsProven experience working as a Coded Welder in a fabrication/workshop xjdpvnf environmentFlux Core welding experienceASME IX coding (essential)Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience welding hydraulic equipment, pipework, or precision fabrications preferredStrong focus on quality, accuracy, and consistencyReliable, punctual, and able to work to tight deadlinesGood communication skills and ability to work within a small, organised teamWhat's on OfferCompetitive CIS rate - DOEStable workload within a growing engineering businessOpportunity for permanent employment for the right candidateProfessional, structured workshop environment
