Typical issues include M&E faults, HVAC systems, fire alarms, plumbing issues, BMS faults, and general building fabric repairs. The role includes investigating problems on site, resolving them directly or arranging for parts and follow-up visits. The engineer will also follow planned servicing schedules, particularly for lighting, emergency lighting, BMS, and water systems.
