Site Engineer (Civil)

Site Engineer to assist in the delivery of 300m pound reinforced concrete Package in Teeside. Works will involve the providing engineering support to the project team in delivery of a number of concrete structures such as the turbine hall, condenser plant and carbon capture plant.Make sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.Reporting to the Sub Agent or Construction Manager as required withresponsibilities including:Able to follow a Safe System of Work identifying concerns with regardsto safety, environmental concerns and quality in their section.Being able to challenge unsafe acts within the site and completingwhere necessary observationsCarrying out setting out including complex layouts of concretestructures and associated earthworks.Assist the sub-agent / senior engineer in materials take offs, stockchecks and call off orders.Drafting Inspection and Test Plans and once confirmed follow the planand brief othersAssist materials team as required with regards to progress of on-siteworks.Carrying out site inspections as required under a rota systemAbility to work unsocial hours including weekends.Understand and report on KPIs as given by Construction ManagerAbility to work in a team environment with positive attitude and theability to take on information and relay it to the operatives on site withthe assistance of General Foreman / Works manager as required.Understanding and contributing to 3 weekly programme identifying anyefficiencies and bringing to attention of site team.CSCS card appropriate for role.Current Driving LicenceBe able to train junior or graduate engineers so they can achieve careerprogression should they desire.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
