40k salaryOvertime available1 week in 3 call out at 100 retainer plus 4 hours paid if called out with use of van when on call, call out applies to Newcastle main site, plus Doxford Park facility 20 mins awayMon to Fri, 8AM - 5PM or 7 - 4PM25 days holiday, plus 8 banks4% pension matchedSick pay once passed 3 month probationFree Parking on siteA variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit an Electrician to provide electrical maintenance across their customer's corporate campus facility in Newcastle, 3 miles north from the city centre.The client are a corporate banking organisation and this site consisting of 5 corporate buildings is a key working space for their staff, home to leadership, finance and software support, within the buildings.Working within the maintenance engineering team you will work to a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule while also completing reactive electrical repairs.There will also be minor mechanical and building fabric repairs to complete, plus the supervision of subcontractors and completing small install/project work.This is a modern and polished working environment with excellent training pathways available, working with a capable team and management.There will be some support needed to cover the satellite site in Doxford park, with use of van.Actions will include:Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirementsEnsure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentationTo carry out planned and reactive maintenance, as required. Including, but not limited to electrical works.Perform routine maintenance and inspections.Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults.Install and upgrade electrical infrastructure.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.Maintain accurate maintenance records.We need from you:Electrical qualifications and ideally some maintenance experience.
