Coating Specialist Location: Newcastle Salary: 36,000Find out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered.- 38,000 CY Partners is excited to represent a leading Polymer manufacturer.We are seeking a highly skilled Coating Specialist to join their New Product Development team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about coating technologies.Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimise coating formulations and techniques, including excimer, UV and 2K lacquers.Design and implement novel water-based inks and primers, enhancing product performance and sustainability.Serve as a specialist in embossing techniques to create innovative textures and patterns.Introduce new features to surfaces, improving functionality and aligning with market trends.Develop and evaluate new products for various applications, ensuring swift market implementation.Conduct laboratory experiments to assess the properties and characteristics of films and surface coatings.Provide technical support to production personnel to resolve quality issues related to new and existing products.Assist in evaluating raw materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards.Candidate Requirements: Degree (BSc, MSc, PhD) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Material Science is essential.Hands-on experience in the coating industry.Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively.Knowledge of new product development, process safety, and improvement methodologies.Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team; self-motivated and proactive.This is an excellent opportunity to join a global Polymer manufacture at their UK Head Office, if this sounds interesting to you apply now!
