HGV Class 1 Driver

We are seeking reliable and skilled HGV Drivers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage routes effectively. Duties Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Ensure the lorry is loaded and unloaded safely, securing cargo as necessary. Experience Proven experience as a HGV Driver is essential. Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
