Domestic Electrician

Electrician Subcontractor: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Domestic Electrician to join our northeast team on a subcontract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in domestic properties, ensuring work is completed in compliance with current regulations and safety standards. What We Offer: Competitive day/hourly rates Flexible working arrangements Dedicated Network Support Coordinator Opportunity for ongoing subcontracting work Key Responsibilities: Carry out electrical installations, upgrades, and rewires in domestic properties Diagnose and repair electrical faults Conduct electrical testing, inspections, and certifications (EICRs) Install consumer units, lighting systems, sockets, and other domestic fixtures Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations Maintain a safe and clean working environment Requirements: Essential: 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card Inspection & Testing 2391 (or 2394/2395) qualification Public Liability Insurance (minimum 2M) Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle Own tools and testing equipment Strong understanding of domestic wiring systems Ability to work independently and manage workload Desirable: Previous experience as a subcontractor PAT Testing qualification Experience with smart home installations Familiarity with job management apps or digital reporting tools TPBN1_UKTJ
