The position requires an understanding of adult education learning principles, current professional practice standards, the work environment, and information technology impact on providing and evaluating patient care. The Digital Health Education Consultant has advanced knowledge of the functions and application of clinical information systems. This position is responsible to support the education of physicians who use clinical information systems through the development of curriculum and learning tools as well as providing education. This position will primarily provide educational support of the OneChart system and secondary support of other clinical systems. The Digital Health Education Consultant will have a high degree of initiative and personal creativity.
