Fire & Security Service Engineer

Job Description Job description:We are seeking skilled and reliable Fire & Security Engineers to join our team, specialising in the maintenance and fault-finding of fire alarm and intruder systems across the North East region. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in line with industry standards.What You'll Be DoingCarry out maintenance and fault-finding on fire alarm systems, including but not limited to Morley, Kentec, Advanced, Hyfire, and Cooper equipment.Ensure all work is completed in accordance withBS5839standards.Maintain and fault-find on intruder alarm systems such as Galaxy, Menvier, and Texecom.Undertake intruder system maintenance and diagnostics in line withPD6662requirements.Accurately log jobs and provide detailed, clear information usingCASH.Complete timesheets accurately and ensure they are submitted within deadlines.Follow company Health & Safety policies and work safely in accordance with regulatory requirements.Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota as part of the engineering team.Drive to customer sites across the North Eastfull UK driving licence required.What You'll BringMinimum3+ years consecutive experienceworking as a Fire & Security Engineer.Strong technical knowledge of industry-leading fire and intruder alarm systems.Excellent fault-finding, analytical, and diagnostic skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills and attention to detail.Strong understanding of relevant British Standards (BS5839 and PD6662).Why Youll Love Working With UsCompany Van (can opt to use for private use) and mobilePaid Travel after 30 minutes23 days holiday (rising to 25) + bank holidaysOptional health & wellbeing benefits, including: (24/7 GP service, counselling, health cash plans, and personal accident cover)Free basic Will Writing & Financial Review ServiceElectric Vehicle SchemeJBRP1_UKTJ
