HGV Class 1 Night Tramper

Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a Class 1 Night Tramper Driver on behalf of our client to join their team in Newcastle. Hours of work: Nights 22.00 start time . Sleep in the wagon during the day Salary: 16.50 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) The Role: Night shifts Flexible Rota (runs over 7 nights a week) General Haulage Curtain Siders Tramping (sleeping in the truck away from home) 22.00 per night non taxable 8 hour shifts guaranteed Permanent position for the right candidate Long distance delivery of goods Delivering to depots throughout the country Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills: Must hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat C+E licence for a minimum of 6 months. Must have at least 60 days worth of driving showing on digital tacho card. Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card. Must hold a valid Digital tacho card. No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations. No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations. TPBN1_UKTJ
