Job Description Business Management and Digital Marketing LecturerDepartment:AcademicLocations Available: Newcastle Upon Tyne or SunderlandPotential Start Date: May 2026Position Type:Permanent Working Hours:37.5 hours per weekWorking Pattern:Monday to FridayReports To:Course DirectorJob OverviewUK Management College is seeking an enthusiastic andknowledgeable Lecturer in Business Management and Digital Marketing to deliverhigh-quality teaching across business and digital marketing modules. Thepostholder will contribute to an engaging learning environment, support studentachievement, and ensure curriculum content reflects current industry practiceand academic standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and LearningDeliver lectures, seminars, and workshops across Business Management and Digital Marketing modules.Teach subjects including marketing strategy, digitalmarketing, SEO, social media, content marketing, data analytics, and business management principles.Develop and update teaching materials to ensure academic quality and industry relevance.Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and applied learning.Provide timely, constructive feedback on student assessments.Assessment and Student SupportDesign, set, and mark assessments including coursework, projects, and examinations.Supervise student projects and provide guidance on business and digital marketing campaigns.Provide academic guidance and pastoral support as a personal tutor.Monitor student progress and contribute to student retentionand success.Professional Practice and Industry EngagementMaintain up-to-date subject knowledge in business anddigital marketing through continuous professional development.Engage with industry partners to enhance curriculum contentand student employability.Support the delivery of industry workshops and guestlectures where appropriate.Quality Assurance and AdministrationContribute to curriculum development, review, and quality assurance processes.Complete academic administration including attendance monitoring, assessment submission, and record keeping. Participate in academic meetings and College activities in line with policies and procedures.Person SpecificationEssential:Masters degree in Business Management, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline (PhD preferred).Teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one.Experience teaching in higher education and/or significant professional experience in business or digital marketing.Experience with industry-standard tools such as Google Analytics, social media analytics platforms and/or CRM systems.Knowledge of web development or web design principles, including website design, user experience (UX) and/or basic front-end development, as part of digital marketing practice.Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics, and online campaign management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Competence in using digital learning platforms and educational technologies.Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.Passion for teaching and student success.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.Access to academic resources and support networks.Supportive and inclusive academic community.
