Principal Designer – Building Regulations A growing construction consultancy is looking for a Principal Designer (Building Regulations) to support clients and design teams in delivering compliant projects under the Building Safety Act 2022. You’ll work across a diverse range of projects including residential, healthcare, commercial and industrial developments, ensuring design compliance and coordinating teams through the design and regulatory process. Key responsibilities include:Acting as Building Regulations Principal Designer. Advising clients on Building Safety Act compliance. Coordinating design teams and managing compliance documentation. Supporting Gateway submissions and HRB projects. Maintaining the Golden Thread of information. Attending client and design team meetings.Requirements:Background in architecture, building control, building surveying or design management. Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act.
