Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly expanding charity based in Newcastle as a HR Business Partner on a 6 month fixed-term contract. This is a part-time role, ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.As HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting managers across the organisation, providing expert HR advice and guidance. You will be heavily involved in employee relations, with a particular focus on managing sickness absence and supporting a range of generalist HR activities.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide proactive HR support and guidance to managersManage a high volume of employee relations cases, including complex issuesLead on sickness absence management, ensuring best practice and consistencySupport organisational change and workforce planning initiativesEnsure HR policies and procedures are applied effectivelyContribute to the ongoing development of HR processesAbout YouProven experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor roleStrong employee relations background, with confidence handling complex casesExperience managing sickness absence cases end-to-endCIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAble to work independently in a dynamic and evolving environmentWhats on OfferOpportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing charityFlexible, part-time working arrangementSupportive and collaborative team environmentNRG is an equal opportunities employer committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
