Job Title: Supported Living Support Worker Location: Newbury Contract Type: Part-time / Permanent Salary: 12.70 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: 26 hours per week, Main hours needed are: MONDAY 9am-5pm TUESDAY 9am-7.30pm FRIDAY 9am-4.30pm some overtime might be available other days or weekends. About the Role As a Supported Living Support Worker, youll provide person-centred support to individuals in their own homes/shared accommodation. Location of work is one shared property, not different houses. You will help them develop life skills, access the community, and maintain their health and wellbeing. Every day will be different you might be supporting with daily routines, helping someone attend appointments, or encouraging independence with cooking, budgeting, or social activities. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals. Support people to live independently, respecting their choices and preferences. Assist with personal care, medication administration, and household tasks where needed. Encourage participation in community and leisure activities. Support individuals to achieve their goals, aspirations, and personal development plans. Maintain accurate records and complete reports in line with company policies. Work collaboratively with families, health professionals, and other agencies. Ensure safeguarding and health 'safety standards are always upheld. About You We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated people who are committed to making a difference. Essential criteria: Genuine passion for supporting others and promoting independence. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to complete training and development. Full UK driving licence Desirable: Previous experience in care or supported living. NVQ / QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
