Reporting to the Managing Director you will also be responsible for line managing the HR Administrator. Key responsibilities include: Providing support and coaching to managers in periods of operational change Pro-actively implement and enhance the current HR function ahead of planned business growth Build strategy for attraction, development and retention of talent Anticipate the implications of new regulations and to determine the most appropriate method of implementing these changes Conduct bi-annual culture surveys related to our food safety culture; and work with senior colleagues to follow up any issues and suggestions arising Maintain systems, reports and process to ensure full compliance with legislation, proactively implementing changes as needed Responsibility for the day-to-day HR functions, including clocking in/out processes and reporting, sick leave monitoring, roster planning Ensure the processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations is accurate, timely and complete across payroll and HR records Maintain Group HR record and personnel files for all ongoing issues Lead any investigatory matters and build close working relationships with Senior Management to ensure proactive management of potential HR issues Ensure all performance review processes are maintained with active involvement in issues and resolution Advise and support managers with employee relations issues including performance management, disciplinary, grievance and redundancy issues Manage ongoing compliance for personnel Health and Safety and food safety training Develop and maintain company policies and procedures, including Employee Handbook Ensure timely input of monthly payroll data, working closely with supervisors and managers to process monthly payroll data Calculation of SSP, Holiday and Company paid leave entitlements. Managing HMRC people related issues Support the preparation of documents, reports, spreadsheets and presentations. This includes preparation for Business Reviews, Talent Reviews, HR Functional Reviews, Strategy Meetings and HR Team meetings Candidate Profile: 5+ years of HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing or technical environment Line management experience, with the confidence to lead and support others Background in Learning & Development, with a passion for growth and engagement Strong communication skills, able to facilitate discussions and deliver clear messaging across teams Collaborative mindset, thriving in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting Emotional intelligence and cultural awareness, with a genuine interest in shaping a positive workplace Additional information: 5 days required on-site (parking available) Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 4.00pm (however flexibility is possible) 20 days annual leave in addition to public holidays The office is closed on Bank Holidays and between Christmas / New Year each year TPBN1_UKTJ
