Job DescriptionPPeople Director FMCG120,000 + car allowance & bonusBerkshire | Full-time | Office-basedWere partnering with a high-performing, fast-paced FMCG business in the food sector to find a commercially minded People Director. This is a rare opportunity to join a small but ambitious organisation that punches well above its weightand is on an exciting growth trajectory.Reporting directly to the MD, youll lead the end-to-end People function and play a key role as part of a close-knit, collaborative senior leadership team. Based at the Berkshire head office (alongside the rest of the SLT), youll also occasionally visit the companys second site.Your mission? To shape and deliver a people strategy that drives engagement, supports business growth, and sharpens operational performance. Youll inherit a well-run function and a capable team of 10, supporting a workforce of around 600. The focus will be on building a forward-looking, commercially aligned People agenda that adds real value to the business.What were looking for:Senior HR leadership experience within the FMCG sectorA track record of managing and developing high-performing HR teamsStrong influencing and stakeholder engagement skillsA practical, commercial mindset with a hands-on approachA broad generalist background and a willingness to roll up your sleevesWhile this role is office-based five days a week, the business fosters a culture of trust and flexibilityrecognising the importance of balancing work and life in a way that works for individuals and the business.
