Senior Technical Claims Advisor

Job Title: Senior Technical Claims Advisor Salary: Up to 36,000 DOE Location: Delph, Oldham Working Structure: Office based Start Date: ASAP Are you an experienced candidate across complex claims? Job Responsibilities: Manage technical and complex claims across all products from initial notification through to final settlement.Is this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical advice and oversight on complex claims matters.Support operational leadership with guidance on coverage interpretation, liability assessment, and claims resolution strategies.Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to Claims Team members on technical and complex claims issues.Review and interpret site-specific data, images, and reports to assess policy liability and approve or amend scopes of work.Work collaboratively with contractors to resolve practical and technical claims-related issues.Ensure all claims decisions comply with relevant legislation, policy terms, and industry best practices.Prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports for submission to insurers regarding policy liability and claim outcomes.Assist contractors by providing claim-related information to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.Liaise with approved contractors and clients to ensure service level agreements and KPIs are consistently met.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in claims processes and procedures.Respond to ad-hoc requests from the Management Team within agreed timeframes.Key Skills / Experiences: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar technical or complex claims role Demonstrated ability to manage high-value, technical claims up to 100,000 Cert CII qualification (or equivalent) preferred Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, insurance protocols, and industry best practices, particularly within drainage claims Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Numerate and methodical, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Self-motivated professional with a positive, proactive, and solutions-driven approach JDRCC JDR is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. xjdpvnf JDR is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
