Job Description National Field Services ManagerNelsonPermanent, full-time Competitive salary, Bonus + Company Car plus benefitsThe National Field Services Manager is to support the businesses plans by ensuring that Detectronic provides a reliable, repeatable and customer centric service to its customers from installation of the first product through to the ongoing provision of maintenance activities and data services. The National Field Service Manager will report directly to the Service Delivery Director will have a proven track record of delivering complex and geographically widespread projects ranging from 1000s of installs to bespoke solutions for our customer base. The Service Delivery lead will inspire great performance and build a high performing team with a focus on quality, innovation and efficiency.The current Field Services Team has grown to over 100 employees and includes 2, 3 and 1 person crew as well as Project Engineers who supervise and manage the project. The role will also be responsible for managing our contract partners who help to deliver our major projects. The Current portfolio of works cover most of the UK, so some travel should be expected.More about the role:Overall responsibility for all Service Delivery activities including installations of Detectronics portfolio of Monitoring equipment, Including Level, flow and Water Quality.Manage a team of Project Engineers and Field Service Managers to inspire our front-line staff to delivery best in class service to our clientsRefine and develop Standard Operating Procedures for all activities involved in Field ServicesBe responsible for the Field Services Budget and aim to delivery below budget by increasing efficiencies and productivityDrive quality as a priority on all projects and contracts with a right first-time ethos.Be curious use Innovation and procedural improvements to drive performance and efficiencies.Develop our people to be the best they can be, creating a culture of learning, coaching and empowerment.Inspire and motivate best in class delivery from installation, maintenance and data quality.Promotes a culture focused on the health, safety, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion of all employees within their function and deliver associated outcomes.Work closely with the Service Delivery Lead and PMO to ensure consistent and effective results for our clientsManage contractor work forceThe role will cover all of our contractsProvide performance reports to the Board on a monthly basisQualificationsAbout you:A good knowledge of services pertaining to Adler & Allan group wide offering.Tenacity, durability and able to demonstrate resilience with a positive attitude to change.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Good financial acumen.PC based IT skills - Word, Excel, Project and PowerPointProven track record of delivery and achievement.Strong planning and presentation skills.Proven ability to manage and influence a skilled multidisciplinary teamHigh level of organisational skillsPossession of a clean UK driving licence and Right to Work in the UKEngineering competencyKnowledge of the water sectorExperience in managing field and desk-based operatives and leadership teams in matrix organisations.Ability to create bespoke solutions based on customer needs from the suite of Adler & Allan solutions and services.A Criminal Record Check will be required due to the environments in which the postholder will operate.IOSH Managing SafelySMSTSPrince 2NEBOSH General CertificateFlow and or Level monitoring of Sewer NetworksAdditional InformationWhat we can offer you:Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay and leaveCompany pensionLife assurance scheme (x4 salary)Medicare Cash Plan (includes cash payments towards dental, medical, therapeutic treatments) with the option to add up to 4 dependantsRefer a friend schemeEmployee assistance programme (access to GP appointments and mental health support)Competitive annual leave plus bank holidaysTraining and career progression opportunitiesAdler and Allan are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
