Planner (Manufacturing)

Job DescriptionBlue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Paper Mill Planner to join our clients team based in the Baglan area.Rate of Pay: 32,000paHours of work: Monday-Friday 8:30-16:30Contract: PermanentPurpose:To define and approve the production plan, in order to guarantee the availability of the merchandise requested by clients, taking into account the stored material and optimising productive efficiency in accordance with the Group's guidelines and procedures.Main Responsibilities:Develop the production plan taking into account: sales forecasting of parent reels/finished product, Converting/end-use clients' paper requirement, stock levelsPursuing the aims assigned to the plant in relation to required service level, warehouse balance and productive efficiencyInterface with PM/CNV Procurement Specialist to check raw materials availabilityGet coordinated with the Transport Office to check the availability of transport vehicles for the merchandise deliveryWith the PM Production Manager, discuss the developed production plan, in order to assess its technical feasibility and to take possible corrective actions if necessaryApprove the production planGet coordinated with PM/CNV Production Planning Officer during daily workManage critical events within the relevant areaCollaborate with the Parent reels Sales Office/Marketing and Sales Area to maximise service to clientsGuarantee the correct management of relevant processes in accordance with the Group's policies and proceduresCollaborate with the Converting Production Planning in order to maximise service to end-use clientsSupport the parent reels sales office in the relationship with clients concerning production plans, deliveries and technical specificationsSkills required:An engineering or economics degree or equivalentExperience of using SAP systemsExcellent communication skillsProficient at using Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookAbility to prioritise and problem solve Site run a no conviction policyIf you feel you have the right experience for the above role, please submit your CV for immediate response.Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.JBRP1_UKTJ
