This role does not offer sponsorship.We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Domestic Assistant to join our team at Orchards Manor School, a specialist provision within New Options Autism, part of the Outcomes First Group.About the roleAs a Domestic Assistant, youll help ensure that all areas of the school are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Your role supports not only the physical environment, but also the wellbeing, comfort, and safety of everyone in our school community.Youll take pride in your work, follow health and safety guidelines, and be part of a friendly, professional team that values your contribution.Key Task Areas and ResponsibilitiesCarry out regular cleaning duties across all areas of the school to maintain high hygiene standardsEnsure correct use and storage of cleaning products and equipment in line with COSHH and Health & Safety regulationsFollow daily, weekly, and ad hoc cleaning routines as directedAssist with laundry duties as requiredCollaborate with other domestic staff to complete larger tasks when neededReport any hazards, damage, breakages, or maintenance concerns promptlyMaintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with staff, pupils, and visitorsContribute to the schools excellent reputation through reliable and high-quality workWho we are looking for:Were looking for someone who takes pride in a job well done and understands the importance of a clean and safe environment, especially in a school setting.Previous experience in cleaning or domestic work (essential)Knowledge of effective and safe cleaning practicesAn understanding of COSHH and health and safety in a cleaning environmentThe ability to work independently and as part of a supportive teamA responsible, proactive, and friendly approach to your workAbout usOrchards Manor School, part of Options Autism, is a brand-new specialist school opening near Kings Lynn in Downham Market. The school will cater for up to 72 pupils aged 5 to 16 with a variety of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).Orchards Manor is an independent specialist school where the curriculum is thoughtfully designed around the specific needs of autistic learners and those with related needs.
