These sessions must include a Thursday and Friday. We are a well-established, patient focused practice based in Nantwich, looking to appoint a local, enthusiastic and innovative Salaried GP to join our passionate, friendly team who are committed to delivering excellent patient care. Main duties of the jobIn general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care. Onsite free parking On call maximum 1 per week EMIS web Low number of home visits supported by District Nurse and ACP visiting team referral service ICB representation Protected Team and Clinical Meetings monthly along with Lunch and Learn events Outside interests encouraged to enhance our wide depth of current external interests from GP Partners About usOur Practice is within a purpose-built Primary Care Centre in the heart of Nantwich with 20 clinical rooms and 1 operating suite on the ground floor from which with provide a minor surgery provision and an onsite Research Team. Nantwich is a charming historical market town, set beside the river Weaver, with excellent transport links with Manchester only an hour away by train, the beautiful city of Chester is a 45-minute drive away and the North Wales coast just over an hour away. Nantwich also has a number of excellent primary schools and two very reputable senior schools. We serve a population of circa 13,000 patients and our medical team comprises of 7 GP Partners, 3 salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Nursing Associates and Health Care Support Workers and 2 First Contact Physiotherapists. We are part of Nantwich and Rural PCN and currently have ARRS roles in Care Co-ordinator, Nurse Associate, 2 Pharmacy Technicians, 2 Pharmacists and a social prescriber. We also have an onsite dedicated Research Team with 3 Nurses, Admin and three of our own GP Partners, with valuable research studies constantly ongoing there is always the opportunity to become involved in our research team. Kiltearn is also a GP training practice for F2 and ST3 Doctors and Nursing Students. We also have Partners with an interest in coach mentoring, career conversation facilitating and as appraisers, one of our GP Partners is also the Education Lead for the PCN. Job responsibilitiesMorning and afternoon surgeries 10-minute appointments, including a mixture of telephone and face to face, either on the day or pre-bookable. Low number of home visits supported by District Nurse and ACP visiting team referral service To complete all paperwork associated with patient care in a timely fashion On-call maximum once a week To attend all PLT (protected learning time in house) events if possible, except when on leave (session to be taken back in lieu if not already working on that day) Readiness to participate in practice research projects and teaching as opportunities arise Essential skills Good time keeping Excellent IT skills & good medical record keeping Team player Flexibility Good understanding of QOF and enhanced services which form part of day-to-day work Other requirements Full clean driving license Personal commitment to annual GP appraisal and the completion of necessary paperwork to ensure revalidation and recertification Annual leave dependent on salaried or GP partner and number of sessions Salary dependent on skills, experience for salaried GP role Person SpecificationQualificationsMCRGP UK Training Fully qualified GP with GMC registration Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate) On NHS England medical performers list Enhanced DBS check UK driving license Current CPR certificate Evidence of continued professional development Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
