HGV Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Motherwell area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team. Roles: Class 1 Days Class 1 Afternoon Class 1 Nights Hours: Class 1 Days- 04:00am - 06:00am - Across Monday to Sunday (weekends included) Class 1 Afternoon - 12pm - Monday to Friday Class 1 Nights- 20:00pm - 22:00pm - Across Monday to Sunday (weekends included) Pay Rate: Class 1 Days- 14.36 rising to 15.11 Class 1 Afternoon - 14.36 rising to 15.11 Class 1 Nights- 15.87 rising to 16.62 Location: Motherwell, ML1 Job Type: Ongoing with opportunity for permanent. The role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. Handling runs with 4-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). . 3 months experience required for class 1 Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
