Estimator Location: RG7 4PR , located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking . Package: 39,500 - 59,350 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience) Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight. As a vital member of our Project Deliver team, you'll bring your estimating expertise to the forefront-helping to drive clarity, confidence, and control across AWE's wide project portfolio. Who are we looking for? We do need you to have the following: Background in Estimating, cost engineering, Quantity Surveying, Commercial, Cost planning. Experience in Stakeholder management skills with ability to collaborate at all senior levels. Good standard of general education, including engineering, technical or management qualifications or equivalent or proven level of experience. Be an active member of a relevant of a Professional Body and willing maintain CPD. Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following: Deploying appropriate procedures, processes and systems to ensure the quality and consistency of estimating deliverables. Supporting the preparation, monitoring and forecasting of cost estimates and plans for specified projects, including change control. Supporting the formulation of cost estimates and cost plans. Providing estimating input to value engineering assessments and evaluation as required. Performing and support other Estimating requirements as requested. Developing and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders Maintaining and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
