Senior Microbiologist

Job Description Are you ready to step into a leadership role in microbiology within a cutting-edge pharmaceutical environment? Were looking for an experienced and passionate individual to supervise our Microbiology Lab operations and support high-quality pharmaceutical production at Piramal Pharma Solutions in Morpeth. What You'll Be Doing: Lead daily Microbiology Lab operations, ensuring safety and compliance Plan and allocate testing tasks to lab analysts for raw materials, bulk/packaged products & environmental monitoring Support QA & QC activities for third-party contract manufacturing Lead quality investigations, including OOS root cause analysis Review & approve microbiological procedures, SOPs, specifications, and compendial updates Advise on contamination control strategies and system design improvements Share best practices by attending training & recommending improvements Represent Microbiology in external and internal audits/inspections Maintain compliance with global regulatory standards in environmental testing Assist with hiring & developing future Microbiology talent What We Offer: Competitive salary & benefits Relocation assistance (if required) 40-hour flexi work week Secure, permanent role in a growing global pharma company Opportunity to grow within an international network of expertsIf youre ready to make a real impact in pharma and work on meaningful, life-changing projects, we want to hear from you!
