We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tree Surgery Team Leader / Estimator to join our growing team.The role will suit a highly competent and experienced individual who either has experience in providing estimates for domestic and commercial work, or someone who is looking to come off the tools for 2-3 days a week to progress their career working in the quoting and management side of the business.About UsEstablished in 2011 and Arb Approved since 2015, we aim to provide exceptional tree services to both residential and commercial clients. We are looking to expand our commercial customer base and establish an additional team.Role OverviewAs the Tree Surgery Team Leader / Estimator, you will play a dual role within our organisation:· Team Leader: You will oversee daily operations, manage a team of tree surgeons, and ensure high standards of safety and efficiency on all projects.· Estimator: You will assess client needs, provide accurate project estimates, and contribute to securing new business opportunities.· At the present time the role will require an average of 3 days of quoting and 2 days of on-site work per week, although this may change over time.Key Responsibilities· Supervise and manage the tree surgery team in delivering exceptional services.· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all job sites.· Perform site assessments and provide professional advice to clients.· Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects.· Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring we meet LOLER and PUWER obligations (full training will be provided)· Contribute to the growth of the business by identifying new opportunities and maintaining high-quality standards.Qualifications and SkillsWe are looking for an experienced individual with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in tree surgery, and NPTC certificates up to CS41 (rigging) as well as First Aid.As a team leader and estimator we will expect you to have:· Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.· Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to arboriculture.· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.· Ability to prepare detailed and accurate project estimates.· A valid, clean driver’s license.We believe in ongoing training and development and we realise that in order to carry out this role effectively you will need a good understanding of other areas of our work, so the following will training will be provided:· NRSWA Signing, lighting and guarding· Bat surveys· LOLER· Professional Tree InspectionWhat we Offer· Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.· Opportunities for professional development and certification.· Friendly, supportive and collaborative work environment.· Access to high-quality equipment and resources.· Career growth opportunities within the company.
