ABOUT THE ROLECole Buxton offers internship opportunities for students currently studying for a BA in Fashion. Our placements provide a broad and valuable experience, enabling students to apply their skills in a professional environment and preparing them for future careers in the industry.We are seeking a motivated and dedicated student with a genuine enthusiasm for design to join our team. As a Design Intern, you will support the Design Team across all product categories, gaining hands-on experience in the creation and development of collections from concept through to final product.KEY RESPONSABILITIESAssist with creative researchCreate CAD colour-ups using Photoshop/ProcreateUpdate design boards and decksAssist in fittings, working alongside both Design and Product Development teamSupport the preparation of Design Meetings (including steaming products, organising colour cards, boards, and room set-up)Maintain and update the library of raw materials (trims, leathers, hardware, colour cards) to ensure easy access for the teamSupport the team in the preparation of fittings, shoots, and showroom presentationsAssist with the preparation, packing, and shipping of samples, liaising with factories and suppliersTHE IDEAL CANDIDATEStrong knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator (essential)Sewing skillsExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailClear and confident communication skills, with the ability to share information effectively with internal and external teamsFlexible attitude and commitment to completing tasks to a high standardHours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (10:00–18:00)Duration: 6 monthsLocation: London studio (with occasional travel for shoots, fabric sourcing, and other tasks)To apply, send your CV, cover letter, and portfolio to jordan@
