Youll be hands-on with EV charge point installations, Solar PV AC works, and reactive maintenance, helping us drive the UKs renewable energy transition.Key Responsibilities:Install and commission EV charge points in domestic and commercial settingsCarry out AC electrical works related to Solar PV (inverters, mains distribution, system integration)Conduct periodic inspections, testing, and certification (EICs, EICRs, Minor Works)Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and reactive maintenanceEnsure compliance with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and NICEIC standardsUse electronic systems (NIC App, tablet) to complete and upload job documentationLiaise with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure smooth project deliveryConduct site audits and identify/correct poor practice, supporting consistent high standardsWhat were looking for:Fully qualified electrician with 18th Edition BS7671 certificationNVQ Level 3 or equivalentCity & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing)Valid ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician level)Full UK driving licence5+ years experience across domestic and commercial installationsGood communication skills and confident customer-facing experienceStrong IT skills for commissioning and reporting appsDesirable skills:City & Guilds 2919-01 (EV Charging Equipment Installation)Experience with EV charger brands like Alfen, Autel, AlpitronicSolar PV accreditation or MCS-related knowledgeExperience with battery storage and smart energy systems
