Vendor & Procurement Manager

This fast-moving, digitally-led financial services firm is shaking up SME banking — and they’re scaling fast. As they continue to expand, they’re now looking for a hands-on Vendor & Procurement Manager to help drive better performance, reduce risk, and build smarter supplier relationships across the bank.What You’ll Be Doing:Leading the overall vendor management strategy and governance processesOwning and optimising procurement and sourcing activities to drive valueManaging a small vendor management team, setting clear priorities and goalsBuilding frameworks that ensure regulatory compliance and accountabilityTracking and reporting vendor performance and risk to senior leadershipOverseeing audits and controls, including review of SOC 1 Type 2 reportsSpotting opportunities to streamline supplier operations and reduce costKeeping pace with regulatory changes and supplier-related best practicesMain Skills Needed:Strong background in vendor or supplier management (ideally 8+ years)Experience working in regulated sectors, ideally financial services or fintechComfortable running full procurement cycles and managing supplier riskSkilled in vendor management tools (Gatekeeper preferred) and dashboardsSolid knowledge of SOC 1, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and similar frameworksConfident people manager and clear communicatorWhat’s in It for You:Flexible hybrid working and family-friendly policiesGenerous pension and bonus schemesPrivate healthcare and life assuranceSupportive, inclusive culture and plenty of social initiativesReal investment in your learning and progressionLet’s skip the hard sell — this is just a brilliant role.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
