Shift Palletising Operator

We are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our manufacturing team. The role involves palletising products, operating packing equipment, and supporting multiple production lines to ensure smooth and efficient production. Key Responsibilities Palletising box and tray products according to specification Transferring completed pallets to the warehouse Working simultaneously on multiple production lines to meet KPI targets (efficiency & wastage) Maintaining high work standards to optimise production line speed Ensuring pallets are built to the correct configuration Booking pallets correctly using the computerised system Completing all traceability records and data entries accurately Ensuring sufficient stock availability (trays, boxes, materials) to avoid production delays Supporting smooth material flow throughout the production process Returning unused stock to the warehouse with correct stock recording Preparing sufficient stock for the next shift Reporting any issues with booking systems, scanners, or label machines to the Team Leader and IT Taking responsibility for equipment care, reporting faults, and following maintenance procedures Following manual handling and health & safety procedures at all times Performing changeovers on packing equipment efficiently with minimal downtime Completing effective shift handovers with clear communication Maintaining communication with other departments to support daily factory operations Following the clean-as-you-go policy at all times Requirements Level 2 Food Hygiene Good work ethic and reliability Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Attention to detail Ability to work as part of a team Good communication skills Basic computer skills preferred Physically fit manual handling involved We Offer Competitive pay Overtime opportunities Full training provided Long-term work opportunities Friendly working environment Working hours are 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6PM DO 6 AM.
