Leasehold and Communal Surveyor 40,750 per annum Hybrid - weekly presencerequiredin Milton Keynes, Peterborough,Rushdenor Boston office Permanent, Full Time As aLeasehold & Communal Surveyor atAmplius,youlldeliver high-quality surveys across our blocks and communal areas, providingaccuratedata on condition,lifecycleand investment needs. Your insights will support fair service charge recovery, inform sinking funds and Major Works Plans, and strengthen long-term investment forecasting.Youllalso work closely with leaseholders and resident groups, clearly explaining findings, upcomingworksand Section 20 processes to build trust and understanding. Salary:40,750 + car allowance Contract:Permanent Your week:36.25 (Mon Fri 9am 5.15pm) Location:Hybrid weekly presencerequiredin Milton Keynes, Peterborough,Rushdenor Boston office Snapshot of your role Undertake detailed surveys of leasehold dwellings, blocks and communal areas, capturing condition,lifecycleand investment requirements. Collectaccuratedata on structural,sharedand external elements including lifts, roofs,plantand communal spaces. Support mid- and post-works inspections on planned investment programme, particularly Amber/Red contracts. Prepare block-level reports informing sinking funds, Major WorksPlansand long-term investment forecasting. Provide technical input to Section 20 consultations and service charge queries. Attend resident meetings to explain findings and upcoming works in clear, accessible language. Whatwerelooking for Experience surveying blocks, communalareasor leasehold properties. Knowledge of building components and lifecycle principles for communal assets. Experience preparing reports to inform asset investment planning. Awareness of service charge principles related to investment. Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical matters clearly. Strong technical surveying and diagnostic skills. Desirable Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) qualification. Experience working with leasehold housing stock and Section 20 processes. Understanding of fire safety, lifts, asbestos and compliance interactions with asset data. A full UK driving licence, access to own car and willingness to travel is required.
