Job Description HR ApprenticeLocation: Milton KeynesDepartment: Human ResourcesSalary: 21,000Must have a current valid right to work in the United Kingdom.Kickstart (or continue) your career in HR with Daimler Truck UKWere looking for a motivated and driven HR Apprentice to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is serious about building a career in HR whether youre just starting out, transitioning into HR from another role, or have already completed a Level 3 HR apprenticeship and are ready to progress to Level 5.This isnt a typical apprenticeship. Our HR team operates in a fast-paced, commercial environment, so were looking for someone who can hit the ground running, juggle multiple priorities, and become a valued member of the team from day one.Alongside hands-on experience, youll be supported through a Level 3 or Level 5 HR apprenticeship, depending on your experience and capability.What youll be doingYoull gain exposure across the full HR function, including:Supporting day-to-day HR administration, ensuring records and documentation are accurate and up to dateActing as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing a professional and helpful serviceSupporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processesAssisting with reward and benefits activities (including our company car scheme and benefits administration)Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiativesUsing HR systems and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvementSupporting employee relations administration with a high level of confidentialityBuilding strong relationships across the business and understanding how HR supports operationsThis role offers real variety, responsibility, and exposure across HR not just admin.What were looking for?Were not just looking for someone who wants an apprenticeship were looking for someone who wants a career in HR.Youll stand out if you:Have strong organisational skills and can manage multiple tasks at onceThrive in a busy environment and can prioritise effectivelyHave excellent attention to detail and accuracyAre confident, professional, and approachable in your communicationAre proactive, curious, and not afraid to ask questions or challenge how things are doneHave experience balancing priorities (this could be from work, education, or other environments)Have a genuine passion for HR and peopleEssential:GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above)Basic Microsoft Office skills and a willingness to learn HR systemsWhy join us?Real, hands-on HR experience across a really broad range of activitiesA supportive and experienced HR team who will invest in your developmentA structured HR apprenticeship qualification (Level 3 or Level 5)Exposure to a large, global organisation in a commercial settingThe opportunity to shape your future career in HRA bit about youWere a close-knit team, so team fit really matters.
