Job Description About UK BiocentreAt UK Biocentre, we support some of the worlds most ambitious research programmes by providing secure, high-quality sample management and storage at scale.From high-throughput processing to automated and cryogenic storage, we help pharmaceutical companies, CROs and research organisations protect the integrity, traceability and long-term value of their biological samples.As we continue to grow - strengthened by the recent acquisition by Azenta Life Sciences - were expanding our commercial team and looking for 3 Territory Sales Managers to drive new business and build lasting client partnerships.The RoleAs a Territory Sales Manager, youll be responsible for driving new business and growing existing accounts across your region. Youll work closely with pharma, biotech, CRO and academic clients to position UK Biocentres end-to-end sample management and storage solutions.This is a high-impact, consultative sales role where youll combine scientific understanding with commercial expertise to deliver real value to clients.Key Responsibilities: Develop new business opportunities across pharma, biotech, CRO and academic marketsBuild and grow strong relationships with both new and existing clientsPosition UK Biocentres sample storage, biorepository and sample management services as a strategic solutionDeliver compelling presentations (virtual and in-person) to prospective clientsGenerate leads through proactive prospecting and follow up on marketing-driven enquiriesManage sales opportunities and pipeline activity within Salesforce CRMWork closely with Project Management to ensure seamless client experienceCollaborate with wider teams to support cross-selling (e.g. storage, transport, informatics)Support client site visits and facility toursDeliver accurate forecasts and contribute to sales reportingAchieve and exceed sales targets through a structured territory strategyWhat were looking for:3+ years experience in Life Sciences sales (services preferred)Strong understanding of pharma, biotech or CRO environmentsProven track record of generating new businessConfident communicator with excellent presentation skillsConsultative, solutions-led approach to salesExperience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable working autonomouslyWillingness to travel regularly (client meetings, events, conferences)Degree in a science-related field (preferred)Why join UK BiocentreBe part of a growing, high-impact organisation supporting global research.Work with cutting-edge infrastructure and large-scale programmes.Join a collaborative, expert team with strong industry reputation.Opportunity to shape and grow your territory with real autonomy.Backed by the strength and reach of Azenta Life Sciences.If youre passionate about Life Sciences and thrive in a commercial, client-facing role, wed love to hear from you.
