HGV Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Glasgow area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team.Shifts:Shifts across Monday to Sunday (weekends included on a rota basis)Hours: Days (8am-6pm)Pay Rate:Days - 15.36 per hour PAYEThe following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Location:Glasgow, G32Job Type:Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.The role:Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance, weekends included and requiredSecurely moving and transporting premium and high value goods (parcels) to sub-depots or collecting them from delivery units (working on bulk collections/deliveries throughout the day)Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork throughout shift.Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.Requirements:Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).Minimum of 6 months experience required.Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).Full understanding of WTD legislation.Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.Excellent communication skills.A safety-first mindset. xjdpvnf For more information, please apply directly with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch!
