We're recruiting for an experienced Light Commercial Vehicle Technician at our Kilbirnie Street Vanstore in Glasgow.Ready to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below.We offer:40,000 - 50,000 DOE plus benefitsAdditional opportunity to earn up to 9,000 every three years in performance-based bonuses- terms and conditions applyAll overtime paid at time and a half33 days' annual leaveToolbox coverTraining provided to become an EV-accredited TechnicianGenerous employee discountsOpportunities to review salary yearlyPrivate healthcare and sick pay coverMaternity and paternity packagesHoursFull time: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5.30pm and Friday 8am - 4.30pmAbout the roleAs a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician for Arnold Clark, you'll carry out servicing and repairs to the highest standard as well as warranty work to manufacturer guidelines - keeping customer satisfaction at the heart of everything you do.You'll be efficient, productive and have at least two years' automotive experience, either with a car retailer or independent garage.Day-to-day dutiesUndertaking the repair and servicing of commercial vehiclesAnalysing work orders to identify what work has been agreed upon and seeking clarification from a Service Advisor when requiredDocumenting completed work orders, ensuring accurate recording, and returning warranty material to the right departmentsPerforming repair work within timescales and in accordance with company proceduresWorking with other departments to help repair and service vehiclesMaking sure the correct parts are available for the jobEnsuring all work complies with industry safety standards and any faults have been reportedEssential skillsTwo years' previous experience as a technician in a similar environmentA full UK driving licenceHigh levels of accuracy and precise attention to detailAbility to work well with a team and on your own initiativeStrong communication and influencing skillsGood standards of literacy and numeracyHigh levels of organisation and good time managementOur CultureArnold Clark is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
