Our client is a well-established UK energy engineering business who specialise in the design, installation and long-term maintenance of commercial and industrial HVAC systems are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Foreman to support and supervise mechanical installation works across a number of commercial and industrial projects.Scroll down the page to see all associated job requirements, and any responsibilities successful candidates can expect.The successful candidate will oversee site based mechanical installation teams delivering plant room installations, system upgrades and full heating system installations within commercial and industrial environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervising and coordinating mechanical installation teams on siteOverseeing installation and replacement of commercial and industrial heating systemsManaging plant room installation and refurbishment worksSupervising installation of HVAC plant and associated pipeworkWorking with equipment including boilers, pumps, pressurisation units, expansion vessels, chillers and associated pipeworkEnsuring all work is carried out in line with project specifications, drawings and schedulesReading and interpreting mechanical drawings and technical schematicsMonitoring site progress and reporting to project managers and engineering teamsEnsuring compliance with health and safety regulations, site procedures and industry standardsMaintaining high standards of workmanship and site organisationCoordinating with engineers, project managers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project deliveryEssential RequirementsProven experience working within commercial or industrial mechanical installationsPrevious experience xjdpvnf in a supervisory or foreman role within mechanical or HVAC projectsStrong knowledge of plant room equipment and commercial pipework systemsExperience installing equipment such as boilers, pumps, pressurisation systems, chillers and HVAC plantAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specificationsGood understanding of site health and safety and compliance requirementsCSCS/SSSTS/SMSTS qualifiedFull UK driving licenceMust be willing to travel and work away from home when required
