Job DescriptionJunior AdministratorFull-time, 35 hours per weekOffice-based in Midlothian (with on-site parking)Permanent - hybrid working model Meraki Talent are delighted to support an established business in the search for an experienced Administrator to join a busy and supportive office administration team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role plays a key part in supporting the delivery of training schemes, assessments, and membership services within the wider organisation.Youll be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support across several key schemes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of applications, maintaining databases, producing reports, and responding to enquiries. This is a varied role that requires strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate applicant records and manage sensitive dataProvide administrative support for apprenticeship and adult trainee schemesAssist in the organisation of award competitions and assessmentsLiaise with members, apprentices, and training providers to offer advice and resolve queriesHelp produce regular reports and upload data to internal systemsSupport the planning and delivery of new services and process improvementsSkills and ExperienceStrong administrative experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and ExcelExcellent accuracy and attention to detailConfident written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workloadExperience providing advice or support to customersWorking hours:Monday to Thursday: 8:30am 5:00pmFriday: 8:30am 2:30pmIncludes one unpaid 60-minute lunch break per day
