UV Field Service Technician UK Water Utilities38,00040,000 | 45 Hours per Week | UK-Wide TravelAre you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below.We are recruiting a hands-onUV Field Service Technicianto support the cleaning, inspection and routine maintenance of UV disinfection systems across UK water and wastewater treatment sites.This is a field-based role supporting UV Field Service Engineers during planned and reactive maintenance visits. The position focuses on cleaning and mechanical service activities rather than advanced electrical fault-finding. Regular UK travel and overnight stays are required.The RoleYou will carry out cleaning of quartz sleeves, removal and refitting of UV lamps, routine inspections and minor mechanical strip-down/rebuild tasks, while supporting preventative maintenance and breakdown works. The role also includes completing digital service reports, maintaining safe working areas, and working in line with site RAMS and permit-to-work systems.RequirementsCandidates must have industrial or site-based experience, practical mechanical aptitude, and confidence using hand tools in operational environments. You should be comfortable working outdoors, physically capable, safety-focused, IT literate, and able to travel and stay away during the working week. A full UK driving licence is essential.Strong awareness of health & safety procedures and experience working under RAMS is required.
