Circa 45,000 (Including Shift Allowance) + OvertimeAdept are recruiting on behalf of a serious engineering business based in Middlesbrough.This isn't light machining.This is high precision work on centrifugally cast components supplying Aerospace, Defence, Energy and Chemical sectors.If you're a proper time served CNC machinist who can set and run machines to tight tolerances, this is worth your attention.The RoleYou will be:Setting and operating CNC Turning and/or Milling machinesProgramming jaws, fixtures and small batch runsProving out first-off components alongside Production EngineeringRunning batch work to SOPs and routing instructionsMachining alloy steels, nickel-based alloys, super alloys, stainless and duplex materialsCarrying out in-process inspection and first-off checksReading engineering drawings (metric & imperial)Working closely with Production, Engineering, Inspection and MaintenanceThis is skilled machining. Not button pushing.What They're Looking ForTime-served CNC Machinist (or equivalent qualification)Strong experience in CNC Turning and/or MillingConfident interpreting engineering drawingsGood understanding of inspection processesPositive, reliable and quality-drivenComfortable working shift patternsProgramming capability is highly desirable. xjdpvnf PackageCirca 46,000 (including 25% shift allowance)Moving to a 3-shift structureOvertime available:Time + ?
