Shift Leader | BoroughbridgeBefore applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.15.43 per hour7am-7pm | 3 shifts per week | alternate weekendsWe are recruiting on behalf of Harrogate Neighbours, a not-for-profit organisation with a proud reputation for providing high-quality care and support to people across the local community.They are now looking for a dedicated Shift Leader to join their Health Lodge team.This is a fantastic leadership opportunity where you'll support and supervise the care team to deliver safe, person-centred care for residents.The RoleLead and support the day care team to ensure residents' safety and wellbeing.Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and accurate record-keeping.Administer and monitor medication in line with policies.Provide hands-on personal care and respond to emergencies when required.Liaise with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.Delegate tasks fairly and support audits to maintain excellent standards of care.The Ideal Candidate3 years experience of working in elderly care within a residential or care setting.Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social CareConfident in supervising and supporting staff.Strong organisational and communication skills.Able to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.Flexible to work nights on a rota basis.About Harrogate NeighboursHarrogate Neighbours is a values-driven organisation known for its commitment to enhancing the wellbeing and independence of people in the local community.
