Go back South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Senior MSK PhysiotherapistThe closing date is 28 July 2025Due to promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MSK Physiotherapist to join the Community Outpatient Physiotherapy Team in the Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland area. The service receives referrals from many sources including Consultants and GPs and operates from a number of different venues in the Middlesbrough area. Applications are invited from Physiotherapists who have post graduate experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy as well as an interest and enthusiasm in this field. The team is friendly and supportive and senior specialists and the Clinical Lead offer clinical supervision and support. The role may involve working at any one of our 4 sites ( One Life, Guisborough Hospital, Redcar Hospital and East Cleveland Hospital ) and could involve rotating around the sites as per service need. Successfulcandidate must have access to a vehicle for work purposes to meet the requirements of the role. Main duties of the jobTo assess and treat patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions. Successful applicants will also be part of the wider Physiotherapy Team in the trust. Staff are supported in their continuous professional development through an In-Service Training Programme, workshops and clinical supervision. Participation in audit and research is encouraged. Person SpecificationQualifications and TrainingBSc or Diploma in Physiotherapy HCPC Registration Achieved or willing to work towards relevant post-graduate qualification/training Attendance at Leadership and Development programme ExperienceCan demonstrate relevant/ varied post-graduate experience across a variety of clinical areas Experience working within NHS Experience of working with patients with musculoskeletal conditions Clinical experience of rehabilitation Knowledge & SkillsFluent in written and verbal English Demonstrates detailed clinical reasoning skills Experience within a variety of clinical areas at band 5 level. Timekeeping, planning and prioritisation skills. Demonstrates analytical skills and judgement when dealing with the therapy management of complex clients.
