Job Description Senior Quantity Surveyor. Middlesbrough. Residential Development. An established, well-capitalised residential developer is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial delivery of multiple housing projects from land appraisal through to final account. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, manage and report on site budgets and prime costs. Lead subcontractor procurement, payments, variations and final accounts. Monitor build costs, report savings/excesses and forecast final position.Support land appraisals and feasibility studies with detailed cost estimates Implement value engineering to maximise profitability. Ensure consistent commercial processes across the team What Were Looking For: Proven residential housebuilding experience. Strong commercial, negotiation and cost control skills.IT proficient; experience with industry cost systems advantageous. Professional membership desirable.
