The Job you will do: Analyse and report on manufacturing processes, identify value-added and non-value-added activities utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements. Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including flow charts, capacity and utilisation studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis. Coordinate maintenance and repair services to keep production equipment operational and report on availability of machines. Propose development and maintenance of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing processes. Document tooling processes, modifications and specifications for future reference. Identify opportunities for preventing waste during production. Optimize facility layouts. Conduct cost analyses and make recommendations for cost-saving measures. Ensure that the organisations manufacturing processes comply with relevant policies and government laws and regulations Work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain customer and internal quality standards. Train and educate manufacturing personnel on new processes and equipment. Be an advocate of the right first time quality principle Maintain the BOM and implement technical requirements. Lead new product implementation. Lead engineering change requests in a timely manner. Liaison with external parties as required (customers, suppliers, etc.). Carry out root cause analysis of issues, implement robust actions to prevent reoccurrence. Manage projects using engineering principles and techniques. About you: Qualified to HNC level or relevant experience with equivalent qualifications. Experienced in problem solving techniques with strong analytical skills. Understanding of quality controls (FMEA, control plan, etc) and implementation/improvement of quality control systems. Systematic and logical approach. Ability in reading and understanding technical drawings, specifications and reports. Experience in conducting technical analysis of products and evaluating compliance and non-compliance against test specification. Effective team player Flexible approach TPBN1_UKTJ
