Salary: 90 - 100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)About the Role:We are currently recruiting for a Welsh-speaking 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) at a Welsh-medium primary school in Merthyr Tydfil.This is a full-time position, working closely with school staff to deliver tailored support that meets the individual needs of the learner. The successful candidate will be fluent in Welsh, have experience working with children with ALN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs), and demonstrate a caring, patient, and proactive approach.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ALN in a Welsh-medium classroomSupport learning through the medium of WelshWork collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionalsHelp implement the pupil's Individual Development Plan (IDP)The Ideal Candidate Will:Be fluent in Welsh (spoken and written)Have experience supporting children with ALN in a school or similar settingHold an Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)JBRP1_UKTJ
