About the Role As Deputy Manager, youll support the Registered Manager in leading the home to meet its Statement of Purpose and uphold the highest standards of care. Youll be a key figure in safeguarding, team development, and ensuring compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Inspire and supervise staff, lead by example, and promote a culture of excellence. Safeguarding & Care Practice Ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people through nurturing, therapeutic care. Quality Assurance & Compliance Support audits, inspections, and maintain adherence to policies and regulations. Finance & Resource Management Assist with budgeting, monitor expenditure, and manage staffing resources. Environment & Community Engagement Maintain a safe, homely setting and foster positive links with the local community. Requirements QCF Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce (essential) Experience in a childrens residential care setting Strong leadership and communication skills Commitment to safeguarding and equal opportunities Passion for supporting young people to reach their full potential Why Join Us?
